A holder of PhD in Business Administration – Thesis Financial inclusion & women empowerment case study of Zimbabwe & Masters in Business Administration (Graduate School of Management), BSc Honours in Economics (University of Zimbabwe), Bank Credit Management Diploma (Damelin School of Management and management and Leadership Program University of Stellenbosch SA. I have been in the financial services sector for over twenty years and am currently the CEO of Empowered Woman Excel Sacco. Before that I was Managing Director BancEASY a subsidiary of
BancABC a regional bank represented in 5 countries.
Trainee with ZB Bank in 1998. In 2004 I moved to Zimbabwe Allied Banking Group to set up Asset Finance. I left ZABG in 2010 as General Manager and successfully set up Asset Finance at BancABC. During my tenure at BancABC we had the largest market share in Zimbabwe. In 2015 I was confirmed as Managing Director for BancEASY a subsidiary for BancABC, a regional bank represented in five countries in Africa. As a Banker, I managed to develop profitable relationships for the banks I worked for. In 2021 I was nominated as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Zimbabwe. As the Founding Director for Woman Excel an organisation that seeks to empower women to break out of mediocrity to greatness. I believe every woman has what it takes to excel in every area of their lives. I am a member of the United Nations Women Leadership Network Zimbabwe steering committee. Last year 2021 I was appointed Vice Chairperson for COMESA Federation of Women in Business Zimbabwe Chapter.
