About the Presenter
Martin is an experienced lawyer specialising in UK and Worldwide Debt Recovery, Contentious Disputes and Insolvency for over 20 years. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management and an Associate Member of the Institute of Environment Management & Assessment. He has worked in the legal dispute resolution field for over 20 years. He has a high level of technological competency with IT and systems and he combines his proficiency with this technology with his skills as a lawyer and bring them together with his knowledge and experience as a business and management consultant to offer a unique blend of practical, commercial and legally astute advice which is in demand from a wide range of clients. Many clients find that the insolvency expertise is essential in evaluating plans and ensuring that all decisions are considered from angles not within mainstream thinking. He runs a board of peer to peer CEOs and has experience of implementing ISO and other systems and has a compliance arm to his business. Martin is a recognised expert in his field and is well known in the industry and has spoken at many events and seminars as well as written articles and podcasts.
Outside of professional life he is a volunteer and trustee of Kent Search and Rescue, where he operates as a Search Manager with overall responsibility for any operational deployment of up to 100 operational members in conjunction with Kent Police. Martin also flies a drone and is qualified under CAA regulations as a drone pilot.
