Byron Matebe Fundira is the Founder and Owner of Chiltern Support & Housing and Parkhill Support Services based in the UK, as well as Mhukahuru Tours & Resorts in Southern Africa. In 2008, Byron founded Chiltern Support & Housing (CSH), motivated to make a positive difference to those with cognitive impairments by offering truly person-centred services. To date, this has been his passion and is the driving force behind Chiltern Support & Housing growing from strength to strength. CSH now includes Parkhill Support Services and cares for people with various mental health and learning disabilities and supports their families. The services are based in local communities and are provided in partnership with various stakeholders including Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, CCGs, other providers and most importantly the people we support. In Southern Africa, Byron has established business interests in the hospitality and agriculture industries, indirectly creating employment for over one hundred individuals. Byron’s other passions are mentoring and philanthropy; the reason why he has set up the Byron Fundira Foundation to be formally launched in 2023.
Dr. Vongai Nyahunzvi is a serial entrepreneur and business leader with an extensive track record of launching various business enterprises with a global reach. For years, she ran her own leadership and organizational development practice, supporting senior leaders in organizations, including heads of state, chief executives, heads of UN agencies, and managing directors, across four continents and multiple sectors. Vongai has supported businesses, leaders, and organisations in over 52 countries across the world. She has also held senior roles across various sectors with her latest being Chief Network Officer and Head of Region- Africa for one of the largest education NGOs which is found in over 61 countries across the world. She is known for her entrepreneurial approach and her passion for helping senior leaders think strategically and practically. Vongai is recognised as a thought leader on leadership development and has authored two books on the topic, Leading From Within — Shifting Perspectives on Leadership (2015) and Leadership Syndromes — Identifying the Self-sabotaging Behaviour Patterns that Can Derail Your Effectiveness as a Leader (2016). In 2016, she launched a monthly roundtable for CEOs across sectors to discuss leadership challenges at the C-suite level. She also founded the UK-based Europe Leadership Awards, which brought together senior leaders from around the world.
Philip Mataranyika is the founder and CEO of Nyaradzo Group, consisting of Nyaradzo Life Assurance, Calundike Exports, Eureka Insurance Brokers, and more. Nyaradzo Life Assurance has grown to be the second-largest life assurance company in Zimbabwe. Mataranyika has won awards for his excellent business practices and contributions to climate change mitigation. He has also participated in community building projects and made donations to education, water sanitation, hospital and prison renovations, and rural development projects. Mataranyika is a graduate of the Institute of Marketing Management of South Africa and holds a Master of Science Degree in Strategic Management with Chinhoyi University of Technology (Zimbabwe).
Vonayi Nyamazana is an Executive Menopause Coach. Vonayi’s mission is to bring menopause awareness to the BAME community and normalise conversations around the subject to empower women to walk into menopause with confidence, fully supported and informed. After getting certified as an Executive Coach, she created a platform called Ketura, which aims to break the culture of silence in ethnic minorities by providing information and support to BAME women and men. She serves this community by facilitating webinars and offering one to one coaching to women and couples seeking to navigate this season of perimenopause and beyond as painlessly as possible. Vonayi blogs about her experiences and journey through menopause as a black African woman. As a speaker, Voni has shared at various women’s business and social groups, Churches, NHS Trusts and many other platforms. As a certified Executive Menopause Coach, Voni works with the Kathryn Colas Academy – an accredited Menopause Training Provider to deliver professional menopause management training for every type of business and employee. Voni is also the Founder of Inspired Khaya (The home of Inspiration), a platform dedicated to inspiring, encouraging and supporting women to be the best version of themselves; inspired Khaya achieves its objectives through facilitating events/ seminars and mentoring programmes. She is a writer and author and is married with two sons.
