Data Protection Consultant
George has been working in General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) law since the passage of the Data Protection Act, 2018. His experience involves setting up GDPR compliance programmes whilst working for organisations both at National and International level. His work has involved investigating data breaches, analysing Data Processing Agreements, training, carrying out Risk Assessments and advising Senior Executives and Junior staff on data protection. He regularly liaises with the Information Commissioner’s Office should the need arise. He has also been responsible for briefing and working closely with specialist Privacy Lawyers in complex Data Protection matters. He has also led teams on GDPR Projects. George has previously worked as an In-House Legal, representing his organisation in Small Claims Courts before District Judges.
When not dealing with the serious business of Data Protection, George enjoys a Jompee of tea whilst watching Nottingham Forest playing!
