Chartered Engineer and founder of The Imagination Factory
Julian Swan is a chartered engineer, educated at the Queens University in Belfast and has over 30 year’s experience in engineering and design.
He is the founder of The Imagination Factory, solving global challenges through creative engineering and product design.
The Imagination Factory based in London, was established in 2010. It focuses on developing innovative solutions in transport, healthcare, wearable tech and the built environment it does this for its clients, some of whom are global brands, and also spins out start-up businesses from its own Factory Friday programmes. Its current programme ‘Future Solar’ is addressing sustainable energy through Hybrid Energy Harvesting, new Photo Voltaic Solutions, Optical Solar Capture and Negative Carbon Hydrogen Energy generation from waste streams.
The Imagination Factory was the first B-Corp certified design agency in the UK and blends Human Centred Design approach, with value proposition strategy and a circularity mindset.
